When Devan and Kyle set out to plan their big day, they weren’t looking for a cookie-cutter wedding. They wanted something that reflected their personalities, their relationship, and their love for Brooklyn. At Deity, they found the perfect backdrop. The unique event venue in Brooklyn blends vintage charm with modern convenience.
Their day was more than just beautiful. It was completely their own. From the moment guests walked in, they were greeted with warm lighting, thoughtful details, and a sense that this wedding was going to be fun.
A Venue That Fit Like a Glove
Set in the heart of Brooklyn, Deity’s multilevel layout, exposed brick, stained glass, and signature tree created the ideal space for Devan & Kyle’s unique wedding vision.
The venue had a fun, Brooklyn vibe that perfectly fit our wedding style, and the affordable pricing made it an easy choice.

With the suite upstairs for getting ready, a rooftop for portraits, and a flowing layout from ceremony to dance floor, the couple made use of every part of our Brooklyn wedding venue. It all came together to create a celebration that felt organic and seamless.

wedding Style with a Personal Touch
What set Devan and Kyle’s wedding apart were the unforgettable and intentional details. Throughout the day, the soft, dreamy tone of baby blue wove through the event. From florals to signage to Devan’s breathtaking, non-traditional baby blue wedding dress. It was a subtle theme that made the whole event feel both stylish and whimsical.
The thoughtful details didn’t stop there. Earlier that day, Devan was surprised with a one-of-a-kind gift: a custom Levi’s jacket, embroidered with their wedding date and lined with fabric that echoed her gown. A love letter in denim, crafted with care, stitched with meaning, and made to last.

Vows, Vibes, and a Beer Belt
Deity’s ceremony space gave way to one of the most memorable moments of the day. A friend took on the role of “flower gay,” tossing petals with flair down the aisle. Another walked beside him wearing a beer belt, passing out cold brews. It was the perfect, lighthearted kickoff to a day filled with love and laughter.
Of course, their dog Bucky was there too, playing a part in the ceremony and stealing hearts in the process. He even inspired their signature cocktail, which quickly became a guest favorite.

Making It Official With a Paw Print
Fun Fact: In New York State, your dog can be your second witness when signing your marriage license. While the first signature must come from a legal adult, the second can be from anyone, even your furry best friend! It’s a meaningful way to include your dog in your special day, while creating an unforgettable moment and an even better photo!
This sweet shot is from Karissa & Doyle’s wedding on 11/8/24, where their beloved pup Merlin added his paw print to the marriage license, proving he’s not just part of the family, but part of the story.

Incredible Food & Signature Drinks
Chef James Neal and the Deity catering team crafted a dinner that guests are still raving about. From the hors d’oeuvres to the plated short rib that left everyone speechless, the food was one of the highlights of the night.
“The food and specialty cocktails are incredible. Chef James deserves all the praise—we’re still thinking about the short rib!”
– Devan & Kyle
With craft cocktails flowing and a vibe that kept the party going into the night, Devan and Kyle’s reception brought all the right energy to our Brooklyn event space.

Planning a wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. And that’s something we prioritize at Deity. From the moment they toured our venue to the last dance of the night, Devan and Kyle felt supported by our team.
